How Filter in Field Configurations Work
Filters in Jira allow you to control when and where specific fields are displayed based on certain criteria. By using filters, you can decide whether a field should appear on screens depending on factors like the selected project, issue type, or request type.
This section of the documentation explains the filtering feature in more detail, including the differences between "All" and "Any".

How Filter in Field Configurations Work
The Filter Match criteria allow you to select between "All" and "Any" to determine how specified fields will be displayed based on the applied filters.
You can filter by Projects, Issue Types, and Request Types using dropdown menus. Furthermore, the "Enable in Create Request" option can be selected to ensure that the field is available in the Jira Service Management (JSM) create request view.
Filter Match: All
When "All" is selected, the specified field will only appear if all of the selected filters (Projects, Issue Types, Request Types) match the items selected in the dropdown menu. Use this option if you want to ensure that the field is displayed only when all conditions are met.
Filter Match: Any
When "Any" is selected, the specified field will appear if at least one of the selected filters match the conditions. Use this option if you want to ensure that the field is displayed only when any of the conditions are met.
Special Case: Filtering on the Create Request Screen of Jira Service Management
Filtering by issue type on the Jira Service Management creation screen is not possible because the issue type is only determined after the initial creation steps and is therefore not available for filter criteria at this stage. To ensure that the fields are displayed correctly, please apply the filters to projects or request types in JSM.
