Why are some of my Dependant Fields in Jira not updating properly?

If certain field updates in Jira are not updating as expected, it may be due to the External Data for Jira Fields app's loop prevention mechanism. This feature ignores issue events that occur within 5 seconds of a previous update to prevent infinite loops and system overloads. As a result, rapid successive changes made within this timeframe might be skipped, leading to incomplete or delayed data synchronization in your Jira issues. To resolve this, try spacing out your manual updates or automation timeframes to allow each change to be processed properly.
