Welcome to External Data for Jira Fields! To ensure a smooth start, we will guide you through the most important steps so you can get started right away.
Quick Introduction
To get a first impression of what our app can do for you, we highly recommend watching the introductory video. It's a quick and easy way to get to know the app's core functions and learn how you can use them to optimize your workflows.
Before You Begin
The app can be accessed via "Apps" tab in the top menu bar of Jira. For the app to work properly, you need at least one project in your Jira instance.
Please note that you need administrator rights to set up and configure the app. Before getting started, please make sure that you have the necessary permissions for your Jira instance.
We also provide you with an example data set after installation, which serves as an excellent starting point for experimenting with the possibilities of the app. The sample data can also be added or removed manually later in the Settings tab.
Choosing The Right Field Configuration Type
Our goal is to provide the right solution for your workflow. That's why External Data for Jira Fields comes with a range of field configuration types. These configurations allow you to customize the functionality of the app to your specific project requirements. Supported Data Sources
