Clone Custom Field Values

All date and time custom field values can be cloned (e.g. Date Time Picker).

Known Limitations

It is not possible to clone the creation and updated date, because Jira doesn’t allow us to modify these fields.

When Deep Clone clones a work item, a new work item is created in your Jira instance. That means that all date and time values (work item creation, comment creation, work item history) result from the time when the work item was created.

For work item comments, we add the original date as a prefix to the comment. If you don’t want to clone the original date as a prefix, you can prevent this in the clone dialog.
