With Jira Misc Workflow Extensions, Jira Workflow Toolbox, or other third-party apps, you can specify various custom workflow validators.
If such a validator has been defined and prevents a work item from being cloned, Deep Clone for Jira will cancel the clone operation and show a warning indicating which custom validator prevented it.
If a custom validator is defined and the cloned work item passes the validation, the clone operation will be successful.
Using third-party validator rules on the Create transistion can prevent Deep Clone from creating work items and failing the clone.
