Smart Checklist for Jira

Smart Checklist for Jira is an add-on that inserts To-Do items in Jira issues. It can be used to organize your To-Do items, Definition of Done lists and Acceptance Criteria or to add template To-dos on Jira issue creation or transition.

It is possible to clone checklists of Smart Checklist for Jira with Deep Clone. Make sure to select the following options under Advanced options (both are checked by default) in order to clone a checklist as described in the Smart Checklist documentation:

Checked items remain checked after cloning.

There is currently (and since 18 Jul 2023) an issue when cloning checklists with the Checklists custom field enabled. The problem is related to a bug in Atlassian’s REST API v3, and we have implemented a workaround.

The checklist data will be correctly cloned as long as Clone other editable fields (Enabled by default) is enabled.
