License Seats
This is the documentation for Snipe-IT for Jira Version 2. All Version 1 users will have to migrate to Version 2 by the end of the year.
If an assigned asset is of type license, you can assign and remove a seat within the Asset view.
Via the multi select dropdown it is possible to assign more than one seat at the time.
We only support the assignment of seats to a person. If a seat is assigned to an asset, we won’t display that in the drop down. The app will prevent assigning a person to a seat if it was already taken by an asset.
