Unknown User as Assigned User

If you see Unknown user as the assigned user in the Linked assets field or another external assets custom field, your Jira account might be missing the Browse users and groups global permission.

This can be changed by Jira admins:

1. Choose ⚙️ Settings > System.

2. Click Global Permissions.

3. Add the users and groups that need to see the assigned users for Snipe-IT assets to the Browse users and groups permission.
